Iman Hussain is a PhD candidate and researcher at Lancaster University. His research focuses on balancing energy usage, sustainability, and comfort in buildings within the context of compounding crises such as climate change, cost-of-living and rising energy costs. He aims to do do this via the use of smart, low-cost sensor networks and AI to collect and turn raw data into actionable intelligence of stakeholders to use in the real world.
He has global experience but focuses on small, measurable change where possible - until major revolutionary change can be made.
