Nowadays, there is an increasing pressure from society to produce and operate with less environmental burdens. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) can help SME’s and industry in general to tackle the environmental impacts of products and services and improve their environmental performance. This session will provide a practical guide on how an LCA is performed and how its results are implemented. Firstly, the basics of LCA will be presented, and then a basic exercise will be conducted to better understand how the methodology works. This session was developed in the framework of the project “Innomat” funded by EIT Raw Materials.
